Financial Controller (Remote, US-based)

About the role

The DCX Client Services is seeking a Home‑Based Financial Controller to join a growing technology company based in the United States. This full‑time remote position offers the chance to apply strong accounting expertise while learning new skills in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly close, prepare financial statements and variance commentary for the CEO and fractional CFO.
• Manage revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and multi‑subledger accounting.
• Oversee AR, AP, reconciliations, payroll coordination and sales‑tax compliance.
• Produce product‑line P&L and customer profitability reports for key accounts.
• Coordinate tax compliance with external CPA.
• Document SOPs for recurring processes to build institutional knowledge.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with deferred‑revenue models.
• CPA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in subscription, gift‑card, platform‑credit or pre‑payment accounting.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Comfortable working with a fractional CFO and external CPA.
