Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the organization’s financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance activities. Working closely with senior management, the role ensures accurate financial statements and supports strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, produce ongoing forecasts and analyse variances against actual performance.
• Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable and payroll.
• Coordinate external audits and manage timely tax filings.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare projections and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Provide financial analysis to support business decisions, focusing on profitability, cost control and ROI.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering effective communication across departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA, CMA or MBA is a plus.
• 3–7 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a controller or senior analyst role.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and budgeting processes.
• Excellent analytical ability to interpret complex financial data and deliver actionable insights.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for presenting financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
