Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the organization’s financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and compliance activities. Working closely with senior management, you will ensure accurate financial statements and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, produce ongoing forecasts and analyse variances against actual performance.
• Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable and payroll, and coordinate external audits and tax filings.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare projections and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Provide financial analysis on profitability, cost control and ROI to support business decisions.
• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering collaboration across departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (CPA, CMA or MBA a plus).
• 3‑7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles and budgeting.
• Excellent analytical ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for presenting to non‑financial stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
