Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller leads LTVplus' finance function, driving financial performance and providing strategic insight to the executive leadership team. Reporting directly to senior management, the role oversees financial management, reporting, internal controls, and FP&A.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage cash‑flow forecasting, working capital, and banking relationships.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans to support growth.
• Conduct financial modeling, variance analysis and provide insights for cost‑saving and revenue‑optimization initiatives.
• Prepare financial dashboards and KPI reports for leadership.

Required profile

• CPA designation.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial management, with strong focus on FP&A, accounting and operations.
• Knowledge of Canadian or American accounting policies and GAAP.
• Experience in multi‑location businesses or professional services is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to present financial data to non‑financial stakeholders.
