Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead finance operations and partner with senior leadership in a fast‑growing distribution and business services company based in Metro Manila. The role focuses on strengthening financial controls, improving reporting accuracy and supporting sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting, treasury, reporting, audit, payroll and receivables functions.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, management information systems and management accounts.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and credit control while ensuring regulatory, tax and reporting compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership and liaise with auditors and external stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements, automation and digital finance initiatives.
• Oversee corporate compliance, licences, documentation, assets, fleet and procurement activities.
• Lead vendor management and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Develop and mentor the finance team, fostering a performance‑driven culture.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• CPA (Philippines) preferred.
• 10+ years of experience, including senior finance leadership roles.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, audit, treasury and internal controls.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, MIS and cash‑flow management.
• Background in distribution, trading or corporate environments is a plus.
• Proven leadership, analytical and stakeholder‑management abilities.
