Financial Controller – Hybrid (Pasay)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Financial Controller to lead finance transformation for a large renewable energy organization with a growing shared services centre in the Philippines. This hybrid role will be based in Pasay, with three days a week in the office, and will drive regional financial operations, reporting, and process migrations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all financial operations and reporting processes across the region.
• Prepare detailed financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
• Lead migration of finance processes from other regions to the Philippines shared service centre.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise financial performance and cost control.
• Oversee audits, implement improvements based on findings, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Support the Accounting & Finance department in achieving operational excellence.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent (preferred).
• 8‑10 years of experience in financial controllership, legal entity controllership, financial reporting, or record‑to‑report processes on a regional scope.
• Prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm is highly advantageous.
• Experience with finance transformation, migration, and change‑management initiatives.
• Comfort managing multicultural stakeholders and reporting to the Pasay office three times a week.
