Financial Controller – Food & Beverage Industry

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead the finance function of our food group, ensuring accurate reporting, effective budgeting and compliance with regulations. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on management of accounting, cost control and financial analysis within the food and beverage sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall financial operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Monitor and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for accuracy.
• Lead preparation of the annual budget and long‑term financial planning.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct cost analysis to support pricing decisions and improve profitability.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements in financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Supervise the finance and accounting team, fostering development and accountability.
• Provide strategic financial input to senior management and business units.
• Oversee inventory and cost control processes in manufacturing and distribution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (CPA preferred).
• 5–8 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably in the food or FMCG sector.
• Strong understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or NetSuite.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
