Financial Controller (Dedicated Offshore)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function of a growing multi‑site dental network and digital manufacturing laboratory generating close to $10 million in revenue. The role is offshore and will report to senior leadership, overseeing consolidation, automation and compliance across several clinical and production entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage consolidated financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for multiple dental practices and the manufacturing lab.
• Administer the financial technology stack (Xero, Hubdoc, Dental4Windows, Carestack and custom fintech platforms) and build automated bank rules and invoice workflows.
• Execute monthly provider payment runs and reconcile Dental4Windows data to calculate commissions, lab costs, merchant and facility fees.
• Produce clean manual journals, BAS workpapers and year‑end files; act as primary technical liaison for external advisors (William Buck, KPMG).
• Oversee payroll tax aggregation, BAS, PAYG, payroll tax and superannuation compliance for Australian entities.
• Analyse operational expenses, clinical and manufacturing margins and provide scenario modelling for expansion and equipment investment.

Required profile

• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Proven experience with Australian businesses, including BAS, PAYG, payroll tax and superannuation compliance.
• 3‑5+ years of commercial accounting experience in multi‑site healthcare, retail or digital manufacturing environments.
• Strong communication skills in English and confidence interacting with C‑suite and practice managers.

Required skills

• Expert‑level proficiency with Xero.
• Advanced use of Hubdoc.
• Familiarity with Dental4Windows and Carestack practice management software.
