Financial Controller / Associate Finance Director

About the role

The Financial Controller / Associate Finance Director will lead the finance function for Publicis Groupe’s media operations in Singapore. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure accurate billing, revenue recognition and month‑end close while supervising a regional finance team based in the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, guide and review the work of the finance team across all media finance operations.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in billing, revenue recognition and work‑in‑progress (WIP) management.
• Oversee month‑end closing, including journal entries, reconciliations and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Review credit notes, financial adjustments and other accounting entries.
• Standardise and streamline financial processes across business units to improve efficiency and control.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to company accounting policies.
• Lead regular WIP meetings with business and finance stakeholders.
• Oversee client, internal and external audit processes and ensure audit readiness.
• Collaborate with system support teams to enhance automation, reporting capabilities and overall system performance.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing accuracy, efficiency and data integrity.

Required profile

• Proven ability to supervise and develop a finance team.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal control frameworks.
• Experience managing month‑end close, billing and revenue recognition processes.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders and lead audit readiness activities.
