About the role

The Manila Finance team at ANZ Banking Group Limited safeguards the integrity of the bank’s financial information. As a Financial Control Associate you will support accounting, reporting and balance‑sheet control activities for on‑shore teams, ensuring accurate and timely financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
• Support implementation and monitoring of ANZ’s accounting policies and internal control frameworks.
• Maintain the integrity of financial information through accurate, reliable and timely reporting.
• Contribute to the Future of Finance agenda by driving simplification, standardisation, automation and continuous improvement.
• Manage end‑to‑end centralized processes such as journal entries and reconciliations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop deep process expertise while remaining flexible across statutory reporting and control functions.
• Embed a strong governance and control culture and ensure “quality at source” through robust process‑level controls.
• Support centralized data sourcing, accounting and reporting services for in‑country finance teams.
• Deliver timely month‑end outputs and uphold standardised processes within the Insto team.

Required profile

• Experience in finance or accounting functions, preferably within a banking environment.
• Knowledge of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Understanding of internal control frameworks and governance practices.
• Ability to manage centralized finance processes and deliver accurate month‑end results.
