Financial Control Analyst – Markets & Treasury

About the role

The Markets & Treasury Financial Control (MTFC) team at ANZ seeks a Financial Control Analyst to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and control processes for its Markets and Treasury divisions. You will support timely, accurate financial information and help meet statutory and regulatory reporting obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, reliable and timely financial information for the business.
• Manage month‑end close activities, including accounting, P&L and Balance Sheet analysis, reconciliations and management reporting.
• Perform trial‑balance control, new‑trade reviews, P&L attribution, price testing and valuation adjustments.
• Analyse regulatory data, performance attribution and FX/cash exposures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve queries and support business requirements.

Required profile

• Experience with Markets and/or Treasury products, preferably in Markets Finance, Product Control or Financial Control.
• Knowledge of financial instruments accounting standards.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel.
• Proficiency with automation tools.
