Financial Business Partner / Business Controller

About the role

As a Financial Business Partner within the Business Controlling Team, you will support Product Development and Corporate Operations by turning financial data into actionable insights. You will work both independently and collaboratively, interfacing with senior business leaders to drive profitability and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyse and report monthly financial and operational performance, including strategic initiatives and key projects.
• Drive periodic project forecasting, coordinate variance analysis and implement gap‑closing measures.
• Lead performance‑management forums such as business performance reviews and business case evaluations.
• Coordinate target‑setting and budgeting across multiple organisational levels.
• Review and approve commercial contracts to ensure financial compliance.
• Execute monthly closing activities, including accrual calculations and project completion assessments.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop robust product business cases and conduct regular performance reviews.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial and business information with the ability to translate data into decision‑making insights.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with Business Area Heads, Product Owners, Project Managers and Controllers.
• Proactive, analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement of profitability.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a cross‑functional team.
