Financial and Corporate Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a Financial and Corporate Auditor to join our global audit team at one of the leading payments providers. You will work with cross‑functional teams to evaluate financial, operational and technology processes and help shape the future of global commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end audits across planning, fieldwork, reporting and remediation with global teams.
• Assess the effectiveness of controls in payment processing, merchant acquiring, onboarding, underwriting, risk management and chargeback functions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify risks, explain business impacts and recommend practical remediation actions.
• Identify root causes of audit findings and develop risk‑reduction solutions.
• Prepare high‑quality workpapers on schedule and contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in payment processing and merchant acquiring, including onboarding, underwriting, risk management and chargeback processes.
• “Think like a client” mindset with strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Solid understanding of process documentation, risk identification and control testing frameworks such as SOX, SSAE16 or COSO.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work collaboratively in a high‑performing team.
• CPA or CIA certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (5‑10%) for international collaboration.
