Financial Analyst – Manufacturing Cost & Performance

About the role

The Finance Specialist will support the financial performance of our manufacturing operations by delivering cost analysis, financial reporting, and actionable business insights. Working closely with operations, you will help monitor costs, uncover efficiency opportunities, and provide timely information for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and interpret monthly financial reports to highlight manufacturing performance.
• Monitor key metrics such as Gross Margin, Net Operating Income, conversion cost, and cost per unit/kilogram.
• Analyze cost drivers—including pricing, material usage, production yields, and operational efficiencies—to reduce food waste and losses.
• Compare actual results against budgets, forecasts, and historical data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support month‑end closing activities through accrual preparation and detailed financial analysis.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning.
• Collaborate with Operations and cross‑functional teams to validate cost assumptions and evaluate savings initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related business discipline.
• CPA or CIA designation is an advantage but not required.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with cost accounting or financial analysis experience have an added advantage.
• Understanding of standard costing, cost allocation, inventory management, and activity‑based costing.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP platforms.
• Experience using financial software.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting concepts.
