Financial Accounting Officer

About the role

The Financial Accounting Officer provides essential support to the Department Head and Division Head of the General Accounting Department. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures accurate financial reporting, maintains system ledgers, and assists with audit activities while supervising Accounting Associates.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor monthly and quarterly regulatory reports.
• Generate daily Oracle trial balance and internal compliance reports.
• Manage Oracle functions, including extracting general ledgers, processing journal entries, and handling fixed‑asset operations such as additions, retirements, transfers, and depreciation.
• Post daily Journal Voucher (JV) entries.
• Prepare schedules and certificates of balances for internal and external auditors.
• Supervise bank reconciliations and ensure timely audit support.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the banking or finance industry.
• Detail‑oriented, highly analytical, and capable of working independently.
• Preferably holds a CPA license.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Oracle.
