Finance Transformation Consultant

About the role

The Finance Transformation Consultant will help global clients redesign, modernize, and optimize their finance functions. The role blends deep finance expertise with hands‑on experience in ERP platforms and specialized finance tools.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct As‑Is assessments across Record‑to‑Report, Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash, and FP&A processes.
• Identify gaps, propose improvements, and design To‑Be processes aligned with best practices.
• Develop Target Operating Models covering people, process, and technology, including GBS/shared‑services and outsourcing options.
• Provide functional expertise for ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle) and finance tools (OneStream, Blackline).
• Create transformation roadmaps, business cases, and ROI models; conduct maturity and feasibility assessments.
• Support delivery lifecycle: design, build, test (SIT, UAT), defect resolution, and post‑go‑live support.
• Facilitate workshops, coordinate with global stakeholders, and enhance reporting and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• 3–7+ years of experience in finance transformation or EPM consulting.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A) and financial close controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
