Finance Transformation Consultant

About the role

The Finance Transformation Consultant will help global clients redesign, modernize and optimise their finance functions. You will combine deep finance expertise with hands‑on experience in ERP platforms and specialised finance tools to drive end‑to‑end process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct As‑Is assessments across Record‑to‑Report, Procure‑to‑Pay, Order‑to‑Cash and FP&A processes.
• Identify gaps, design To‑Be processes and align them with best‑practice standards.
• Develop Target Operating Model designs covering people, process and technology, including GBS/shared‑services and outsourcing options.
• Provide functional SME support for ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle) and finance tools (OneStream, Blackline).
• Build transformation roadmaps, business cases and ROI models; conduct maturity and feasibility assessments.
• Support delivery lifecycle – design, build, test, deploy – including SIT, UAT and defect resolution.
• Deliver post‑go‑live support and enable reporting and governance improvements.
• Facilitate workshops, coordinate with global stakeholders and drive change adoption.

Required profile

• 3–7+ years of experience in finance transformation or EPM consulting.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A) and financial close controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Experience working in a hybrid work model (2 days onsite) and day‑shift schedule.
