Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will manage the organization’s financial activities, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, timely reporting, and effective budget control. The ideal candidate brings solid accounting experience, a strong grasp of financial standards, and proven proficiency with QuickBooks.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Manage cash flow to meet operational requirements and develop financial policies and procedures.
• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts, monitor performance, and report variances.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Coordinate the annual audit, liaising with external auditors and providing required documentation.
• Ensure tax compliance, prepare and file returns, and stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Maintain and optimise QuickBooks and other financial software, identifying process‑improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with other departments, offering financial guidance and training as needed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
