Finance Manager – Philippines

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance function of our Philippines subsidiary. The role ensures robust financial control, compliance with local statutes and tax regulations, and the integrity of all financial reporting while acting as the bridge between the Regional Finance organization and local operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own the accuracy of local financial records, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Oversee shared service centre activities in AR, AP, GL, fixed assets, and payroll accounting.
• Review journal entries, payments, and reconciliations prepared by the SSC.
• Maintain financial control procedures, approval matrices, and segregation of duties.
• Manage statutory filings (tax, SEC, BIR, PEZA) and relationships with auditors and regulators.
• Oversee bank account management, cash flow forecasting, and payment approvals.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance analysis for the Country Manager and APAC FP&A team.
• Partner with HR on payroll validation and with sales on credit control and pricing analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5–8 years of finance experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership or controllership role.
• Experience in multinational or matrix organizations.
• Familiarity with Philippine tax laws and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience with shared service or remote accounting models is a plus.
