Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the finance and accounting functions of a manufacturing organization, ensuring accurate reporting, effective cost control, and strategic financial planning. This role works closely with operations, procurement, production, and senior leadership to drive profitability and support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Develop, monitor and update budgets, forecasts and long‑term financial plans.
• Oversee standard costing, product costing and analyze manufacturing cost variances.
• Review inventory valuation, supervise inventory accounting and reconcile stock records.
• Provide profitability analysis by product line, customer and business unit.
• Develop financial models to support strategic decisions and present findings to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations and internal controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement recommendations.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, working capital and optimize cash utilization.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance and accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• At least 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including 5+ years in a managerial role.
• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or similar manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, budgeting and financial reporting.
