Finance Manager (Accounting)

About the role

J&T Express Philippines is seeking a Finance Manager to lead its accounting function. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and provides insightful analysis to support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee recording of all financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS).
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Coordinate the annual audit process and act as the main liaison for external auditors.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns, manage tax audits, and stay updated on tax law changes.
• Assist in budgeting, monitor variances, and contribute to financial forecasting.
• Develop and maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the accounting team, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements and support new accounting system implementations.
