Finance Lead Analyst

About the role

The Finance Lead Analyst will support strategic and risk finance activities across the business, delivering analysis, modelling and reporting that drive commercial and risk decisions. Working closely with senior partners, commercial teams and group functions, you will translate strategy into financial insight, protect margins and ensure risks are quantified and reflected in plans.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare volume, revenue and margin models across brands, categories and channels.
• Analyze gross‑to‑net drivers and support revenue growth management initiatives.
• Model P&L impact of input‑cost inflation, pricing actions and productivity programmes.
• Build financial models and scenario analyses for investment cases under senior guidance.
• Prepare management reporting, KPIs and link performance to strategy.
• Identify and quantify operational and financial risks, support stress‑testing and scenario analysis.
• Monitor key risk indicators and collaborate on insurance coverage, claims and renewals.
• Produce decision‑ready analysis packs for senior finance, commercial leadership and group review.
• Maintain robust workpapers, controls and documentation in line with listed‑company standards.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation of routine reporting.

Required profile

• CPA, CIA or working towards a relevant qualification.
• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance or risk, preferably in FMCG, retail or fast‑moving product businesses.
• Strong communication skills to explain financial results to non‑finance audiences.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage competing deadlines.
