Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director acts as the strategic finance business partner to the Country General Manager and regional leadership. This senior role provides commercial and financial insight to drive sustainable growth, value creation and operational excellence across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Country GM, Regional MD and cross‑functional teams (Commercial, Marketing, A&R, Business Development, Legal) to evaluate opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with regional and global objectives.
• Deliver management reporting, performance scorecards and financial analysis to senior leadership, recommending actions to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Provide financial leadership for artist signings, licensing, royalty arrangements, publishing and distribution agreements.
• Assess deal economics, investment returns and financial risks associated with commercial contracts.
• Oversee the full country finance function: accounting, treasury, cash‑flow management, tax, audit, internal controls and statutory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
• Drive process improvements, cost optimisation and effective risk management in partnership with regional finance and shared‑service teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably in a multinational or fast‑growing environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate business opportunities into financial outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across finance, legal, marketing and operations.
• Deep knowledge of financial planning, analysis, reporting and governance.
• Familiarity with IFRS, local accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
