Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead the organization’s accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role supports senior management in achieving strategic financial objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and adjusting entries.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and analyze financial results.
• Identify financial and operational risks, design and implement internal control systems, and monitor compliance.
• Lead audit processes, address findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage, coach, and develop the finance and accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
