Finance Controller – Hybrid (Taguig)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller to lead our finance and accounting function in Taguig. The role combines oversight of financial reporting, internal controls, and team development in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations and adjusting entries, ensuring the integrity of the general ledger.
• Analyze financial results, explain significant variances and identify operational risks.
• Design, implement and monitor internal control systems and corporate governance standards.
• Lead audit processes, address findings and implement corrective actions.
• Manage, coach and develop the finance and accounting team, setting performance objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
