Finance Controller - APAC

About the role

The Finance Controller – APAC will be based in the Philippines shared service centre and will own statutory and controllership responsibilities for the Asia‑Pacific region. You will partner with in‑country finance teams and the shared services hub to ensure financial integrity, compliance and smooth transition of finance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide regional statutory and controllership oversight across APAC, aligning with corporate accounting policies and applicable standards.
• Act as the accountable finance leader for statutory matters while operational execution remains with the shared service centre.
• Review key financial and balance‑sheet items with in‑country stakeholders and resolve material issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate local statutory reporting, filing and audit coordination.
• Oversee internal and external audit processes, ensuring deliverables and remediation actions are completed.
• Collaborate with Tax, Legal and finance teams to manage regulatory and governance matters.
• Support the migration of in‑country finance activities into the shared service model, defining governance, controls and stakeholder engagement.
• Maintain oversight of financial controls, delegation of authority and policy compliance across the region.

Required profile

• Significant experience in finance controllership, statutory reporting or similar roles within the APAC region.
• Strong knowledge of local statutory requirements, IFRS and relevant accounting standards.
• Proven ability to manage audits, compliance and governance frameworks.
• Experience leading finance transformation or shared‑service transitions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple countries.
