About the role

As the Finance and Audit Manager at Panero Pandesal, you will protect the financial integrity of a fast‑scaling bakery startup. You will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensure strict compliance with accounting principles, and lead internal audit activities that support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular sales and revenue audits to align store transactions with POS reports.
• Perform meticulous bank reconciliations ensuring 100% agreement between internal records and bank statements.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and policies that optimize margins across all departments.
• Own full‑cycle accounts payable for suppliers and lessors with robust internal controls.
• Maintain audit‑ready compliance through organized documentation and regulatory adherence.
• Reduce operational wastage by collaborating on inventory checks at both commissary and retail levels.

Required profile

• High agency and critical thinking ability.
• Exceptional attention to detail and integrity.
• Strong analytical skills for complex financial data.
• Effective communication and a love for continuous learning.
• CPA qualification is a significant advantage.
• Prior finance experience in a startup or food‑and‑beverage environment.
