Field Service & Biomedical Technician

About the role

The Field Service/Biomedical Technician is responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining biomedical equipment at customer sites. The role involves daily travel to provide on‑site technical support, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Install new biomedical equipment, establishing, adjusting, calibrating and testing performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance, conduct functional tests, and follow manufacturer instructions.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions on site.
• Submit complete service reports daily for validation and calibration certificates.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge through training, reading technical publications, and networking.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Carry out required administrative and clerical tasks, including ad‑hoc duties.

Required profile

• Graduate of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) or TESDA biomedical courses.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Field Service/Biomedical Technician.
• Willingness to travel 100% of the time and work Monday‑Saturday, 8‑hour shifts.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.
• Readiness to undergo several months of additional training.
