Field Operations Assistant

About the role

The Field Operations Assistant supports the Field Operations Manager in delivering on‑site and off‑site farm operation activities at BASF’s Agricultural Research Station in Bay, Calabarzon. The role ensures smooth planning, resource allocation, and execution of agricultural trials for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing and allocating resources for efficient execution of field trials, including fungicide, herbicide, and insecticide research.
• Coordinate communication and interaction with other research stations, universities, research institutes and suppliers to share best practices.
• Support monitoring and implementation of health and safety policies, EHS/RCMS/EMS standards, and DOLE regulations.
• Help manage farm implements and machinery during research processes and agronomy activities.
• Provide analytical support to identify problems and propose practical solutions.

Required profile

• College graduate, preferably in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering or related sciences.
• 3‑5 years of experience in farm operations, research processes, and agronomy.
• Technical ability to analyze problems and develop solutions.
• Creative, innovative mindset with a passion for optimizing methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Professionalism, integrity, high energy and ability to perform under pressure; proactive and able to work independently or in teams.
