Field Collections Officer – Northern Samar

About the role

Salmon is a rapidly growing consumer fintech group licensed for consumer lending in the Philippines. The Field Collections Officer will travel across Northern Samar to visit clients’ homes or businesses, collect overdue payments, and negotiate repayment plans. This role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to maintain accurate records of each interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Visit client residences or businesses to collect overdue payments.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customers who are behind on their bills.
• Follow up with clients to ensure payment deadlines are met.
• Document every visit and interaction, keeping client information up‑to‑date.
• Coordinate with the legal team when legal action is required for unresolved cases.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in debt collection or a similar customer‑facing role.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or field‑based positions is an asset.
• Knowledge of financial or debt recovery processes is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients professionally and empathetically.
• Capability to handle difficult conversations, resolve conflicts, and negotiate payment plans.
