Facilities Technician

About the role

SN Aboitiz Power Group (SNAP) is looking for a Facilities Technician to handle maintenance and upkeep of its plant facilities, including non‑power equipment, building structures and support services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventive and condition‑based maintenance on electro‑mechanical systems such as fire protection, HVAC/ACU, sewage treatment, potable water and perimeter lighting.
• Carry out structural maintenance and repairs across plant sites, including powerhouses, warehouses, staff houses and administrative buildings.
• Conduct visual inspections and weekly surveillance of dams, monitoring piezometers, seepage, cracks and bathymetric surveys, and oversee contractor activities.
• Manage the sewage treatment plant, assist with lifting operations using forklifts or mobile cranes, and support safety, quality and energy‑conservation programmes.

Required profile

• Civil Engineering graduate (preferred) or TESDA NC II or higher in Electrical, Mechatronics, Building Construction or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting or repairing electrical/electro‑mechanical equipment and performing building construction or finishing works.
• Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) certification; additional heavy‑equipment certifications (forklift, excavator, wheel loader) are a plus.

Required skills

• Hands‑on building maintenance (masonry, carpentry, tiling) and plumbing.
• HVAC/R servicing and electrical troubleshooting (reading schematics, using multimeters).
• Fabrication and welding.
• Operation of forklifts and other heavy equipment (preferred).
