Facilities Engineer

About the role

Littelfuse is seeking a Facilities Engineer to ensure that plant equipment operates efficiently and safely. You will support energy management, monitor utility consumption, and provide continuous maintenance support to meet production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Create, develop and implement a comprehensive Facilities Maintenance Program.
• Implement safety practices to prevent incidents and ensure compliance with PEZA permits.
• Monitor equipment efficiency, capacity and take corrective actions when utilization exceeds 80%.
• Maintain N+1 redundancy and critical spare parts for system reliability.
• Keep the plant and surrounding area clean and ensure firefighting equipment is inspected and functional.
• Generate and maintain documentation, work instructions, procedures, checklists and logs in line with ISO standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of an engineering discipline, preferably a licensed engineer.
• At least 5 years of facility maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good physical health and ability to work shift schedules.
• Strong communication, human‑relations and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 standards.
• Proficient English language skills.
