Export Seafreight & Airfreight Operations Specialist

About the role

Join our international logistics team as an Export Seafreight & Airfreight Operations Specialist. You will coordinate sea and air shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all regulatory requirements while supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments by sea and air, managing bookings, confirmations, and documentation.
• Communicate with warehouses, co‑loaders, transport providers, carriers, customs brokers and other logistics partners.
• Prepare and lodge export declarations, cartage advice, and VGM information.
• Generate House Bills of Lading, draft and final Master Bills, and ensure accurate cost entry for billing.
• Monitor transport movements to meet cut‑off times and provide shipment status updates.
• Maintain inventory records, track shipments, and produce pre‑alert document packs for agents or shippers.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide training and support to junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in export freight operations.
• Graduate in Customs Administration or a related field.
• Strong understanding of international shipping processes, documentation, and customs clearance.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management and communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle shifting schedules.
