Experienced Tax Associate

About the role

As a Tax Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for clients on tax matters, ensuring accurate tax reviews and handling assessments with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve complex tax issues, especially BIR Letter of Assessments (LOA) for assigned clients.
• Act as trusted advisor, representing clients in discussions and negotiations with tax authorities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Philippine tax laws and ensure client compliance with BIR regulations.
• Communicate professionally with clients and government officials.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service quality.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant.
• Minimum two years of tax experience in a major accounting firm.
• Proven ability to handle BIR LOAs and represent clients before tax authorities.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
