Expediter – Logistics Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Expediter to join DHL Supply Chain’s logistics team. The role ensures safe, efficient and compliant expedite operations, handling orders from request receipt through shipment completion to meet customer and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor expedite orders from request receipt through shipment completion to achieve on‑time delivery.
• Review and respond to email and shipment requests; monitor order allocation and transit status.
• Coordinate with operations teams, supervisors, customers and other stakeholders to resolve operational concerns.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for expedite‑related issues and escalations.
• Follow and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
• Maintain accurate operational reports, records and performance‑tracking data.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity and service performance and support improvement initiatives.
• Support the creation, review and implementation of SOPs, WIs and best‑practice processes.
• Participate in daily performance dialogues, 5S activities, audits and Gemba walks.
• Assist with training, cross‑training, mentoring and onboarding of team members.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement and Kaizen opportunities.
• Promote teamwork, safety, quality and a positive work environment.

Required profile

• Background in warehousing.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• People‑management experience or ability to handle personnel.
• Familiarity with SAP or any Warehouse Management System.
