Executive & Crisis Communications Officer

About the role

The Executive & Crisis Communications Officer supports the CEO and senior leadership team by drafting, reviewing and submitting speeches, policies and guidelines. This role ensures strategic advisory and effective communication during both routine and crisis situations, positioning the organization as an industry leader.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and submit speeches, policies and guidelines aligned with executive and crisis communication functions.
• Provide strategic advisory to the CEO and senior leadership team.
• Collaborate with senior communications officers and corporate affairs heads to develop organizational messages.
• Maintain a sound communications plan ready for implementation during crises.
• Assist in setting the narrative for the CEO and senior leadership.
• Brief senior executives for speaking engagements and events.
• Coordinate with business units on endorsed events and activities.
• Perform administrative duties such as e‑procurement documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communication or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in corporate communications and public relations.
• Extensive experience in crisis communications and strategic thinking.
• Strong understanding of traditional and new media landscapes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
