Executive & Crisis Communications Officer

About the role

The Executive & Crisis Communications Officer supports the CEO and senior leadership team by shaping strategic messages, managing crisis communications, and ensuring consistent corporate storytelling across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and submit speeches, policies, and guidelines aligned with executive and crisis communication objectives.
• Provide strategic advisory to the CEO and senior leadership, positioning them as industry leaders.
• Collaborate with senior communications officers, corporate communications, and corporate affairs heads to develop and maintain organizational messaging.
• Develop and maintain a ready-to‑activate communications plan for issues and crisis situations.
• Assist in setting the narrative for the CEO and senior leadership and brief executives for speaking engagements.
• Coordinate with business units, institutions, and companies on endorsed events and activities.
• Perform administrative duties such as e‑procurement documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communication or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in corporate communications and public relations.
• Extensive experience in crisis communications and strategic thinking.
• Strong understanding of both traditional and new media landscapes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure.
