Estimator – Commercial Construction (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Estimator to support an Australian commercial construction and façade company. Based in the Philippines and working on Perth time, you will prepare accurate quantity take‑offs and cost estimates for a range of commercial projects, from small industrial jobs to large multi‑unit developments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quantity take‑offs from architectural, structural and shop drawings using Bluebeam.
• Build and maintain priced estimates by applying rates and labour constants supplied by the Australian team.
• Identify scope gaps, drawing discrepancies and missing information before pricing.
• Compile and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes against the take‑off.
• Maintain a structured cost database and pricing library updated with actual job data.
• Prepare tender documentation, including pricing schedules, qualifications, exclusions and assumptions.
• Meet tender deadlines while ensuring high accuracy and presentation standards.
• Communicate proactively with the Australian Managing Director and Estimating Manager across time zones.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years estimating experience in commercial construction or façade work.
• Hands‑on experience with Bluebeam for quantity take‑off and markup, with specific project examples.
• Hands‑on experience with Cubit or a comparable dedicated estimating software.
• Proficiency in Excel for clear costing and data entry.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• High accuracy and speed in quantity take‑off.
