Equipment Technician

About the role

The Equipment Technician will ensure that all commissary and production equipment operates efficiently, supporting daily food and beverage production for a large network of restaurants and cafés.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of commissary and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, or technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and parts used.
• Monitor and maintain electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems within the commissary.
• Assist in the installation and calibration of new equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards for all utilities and facilities.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and document completed activities.
• Conduct routine safety checks and report potential hazards.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Production, and Quality Assurance teams to resolve maintenance concerns.
• Coordinate with external contractors or suppliers for specialized repairs when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
• Knowledge of repairing mixers, fructose machines, water heaters, ice blenders, and induction equipment.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with solid troubleshooting skills.
