Equipment Engineer

About the role

The Equipment Engineer is responsible for maintaining and supporting equipment readiness across the organization. This position works both independently and as part of a team to ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and troubleshooting on a variety of equipment.
• Execute maintenance and tool support activities to keep equipment ready for production.
• Upgrade and troubleshoot equipment to reduce downtime and improve performance.
• Analyze technical charts and monitor equipment metrics.
• Lead equipment improvement plans and projects.
• Follow all safety, environmental, health, and security procedures.
• Collaborate on additional projects and assignments as needed.

Required profile

• Technical university degree (BS) in a relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in equipment maintenance or a related field.
• Demonstrated mastery of a technical discipline with recognition as a senior team member.
• Ability to train and guide colleagues on technical tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
