EOL Mold Equipment Engineer

About the role
The EOL Mold Equipment Engineer is responsible for setting up new equipment and driving continuous improvement in equipment efficiency, utilization and quality within our manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and modify equipment to improve machine utilization, efficiency, loss reduction and product quality.
- Coordinate changes and modifications with equipment suppliers for institutionalization.
- Perform visual and mechanical reject analyses.
- Set up equipment and train technicians and operators on operation and functions.
- Generate, establish and write operating specifications.
- Maintain accurate reports and records related to equipment performance.
Required profile
- Graduate of a 5‑year Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical technology program or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years direct experience in maintenance or equipment engineering.
Required skills
- Knowledge of automated test handlers, testers and tape‑and‑reel equipment.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and problem‑solving methodologies.
