Engineering Supervisor (Repairs and Maintenance)

About the role

The Engineering Supervisor ensures continuous and efficient operation of facilities, kitchen equipment, and machinery across Mary Grace stores, manufacturing plants, and offices. The role leads a team of engineers, technicians, and specialists to execute preventive maintenance programs and repair activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technicians (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, civil) and administrative coordinators to ensure smooth execution of repairs and maintenance.
• Develop and implement monthly work plans for the Engineering Group.
• Design cost‑effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment, wastewater treatment, electrical, air‑conditioning, and building systems.
• Monitor data, evaluate preventive/corrective actions, and ensure timely availability of tools, spare parts, and supplies.
• Enforce housekeeping, safety compliance, and cost control measures while improving equipment performance and manpower productivity.
• Motivate staff, conduct performance appraisals, and contribute to the annual budget preparation.
• Prepare reports on resource efficiency and handle miscellaneous tasks assigned by the department head.

Required profile

• Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (PRC).
• Minimum three (3) years supervising repair and maintenance of kitchen equipment, HVAC, or facilities in multiple sites.
• Experience in food manufacturing, restaurant, or hospitality environments is an advantage.
• Proven ability to manage in‑house technicians and handle CAPEX & OPEX budgeting.
• Willingness to work shifting schedules, overtime, and a 6‑day workweek at the head office.
