Employee Dining Associate

About the role

The Employee Dining Associate supports the daily operation of the employee cafeteria, ensuring meals are served efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of quality. This role works closely with the dining supervisor, facilities teams, and vendors to maintain a clean, well‑stocked, and welcoming dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and set up dining and serving areas before each meal period.
• Replenish condiments, utensils, and beverages during service hours.
• Assist with food preparation and meal distribution as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining, kitchen, and storage areas, following food safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, report low stock or damaged items, and help receive and organize deliveries.
• Provide courteous service to employees, handle feedback, and accommodate special dietary requests.
• Conduct regular inspections of the dining area, report maintenance issues, and coordinate repairs with housekeeping and engineering.
• Observe workplace safety practices and support internal audits and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or certification in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in food service or cafeteria operations.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards such as HACCP and ServSafe.
• Experience with inventory management and vendor coordination.
• Basic understanding of dietary requirements and nutrition is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
