Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of plant electrical systems. This role involves inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining a variety of electrical equipment in an industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain electrical equipment to support continuous plant operations.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, schematics, and technical manuals to guide maintenance activities.
• Utilize electrical diagnostic tools and maintenance software to identify faults and document corrective actions.
• Apply safety procedures such as LOTO and Permit‑to‑Work to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a 2‑year technical vocational course.
• Electrical Installation and Maintenance Certificate (NC2) or Registered Master Electrician qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an electrical technician in power or heavy‑industry settings.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Bani, Masinloc, Zambales.

Required skills

• Electrical testing and use of testing instruments.
• Maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
• Reading and interpreting P&IDs and technical manuals.
• Proficiency with electrical diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
• Knowledge of LOTO and Permit‑to‑Work safety procedures.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
