Electrical Engineer for Buildings & Infrastructure

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will oversee all electrical aspects of residential and commercial building projects, ensuring compliance with Bureau Veritas Philippines' standards for quality, safety, and sustainability. This role involves design, installation supervision, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical designs and plans for residential and commercial buildings within the Makati project.
• Supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with local regulations, industry standards, and Bureau Veritas certification requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to guarantee quality and safety of installations.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve timely project completion.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports, documentation, and records of all electrical work performed.
• Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians on best practices and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in electrical engineering for residential and commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.
• Experience with Bureau Veritas certification processes.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
