EDM Technician – Production Equipment Maintenance

About the role

The EDM Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment to keep plant operations running smoothly and minimise downtime. This role is based on‑site in Davao and works closely with the engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, major repairs and overhauling of production machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and auxiliaries to monitor performance and identify issues.
• Ensure equipment availability for production and recommend outsourcing when necessary.
• Execute daily tasks, submit accurate work status reports and recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper shutdown of equipment at shift end.
• Train team members and support certification of new employees on machine operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with cGMP, HACCP and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of engineering and maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification or training in GMP and HACCP is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance, sanitation standards and production operations.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site in Davao.
