About the role

The Editorial Production Assistant supports the editorial team by ensuring that pages are accurately proofread, designed, and laid out. Working under the supervision of Section Editors and the Editorial Systems Head, the role combines editorial precision with technical layout skills.

Key responsibilities

Proofread content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Execute design and layout for pages using publishing software.
Input revisions and updates on pages as directed by editors.
Collaborate with Section Editors and the Editorial Systems Head to meet production schedules.

Required profile

College graduate, preferably with a major in Journalism or Mass Communication.
At least 1 year of experience as a proofreader.
At least 1 year of training or work experience in production within a publishing firm.

Required skills

Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
Familiarity with Pagemaker, Photoshop, or related pagination/editing software.
Knowledge of PDI Stylebook.
Strong proofreading and layouting abilities.
