Ecommerce Manager – Conversion Rate Optimization

About the role

You will own the conversion engine of a high‑average‑order‑value Shopify ecommerce operation, turning existing traffic into more orders and revenue. The focus is on funnel optimisation, mobile checkout, BNPL placement, and merchandising decisions that lift revenue per session.

Key responsibilities

• Drive site‑wide conversion rate and revenue‑per‑session growth by diagnosing and fixing leaks across product pages, cart, checkout and abandonment paths.
• Rebuild product detail pages and checkout flows for mobile‑first conversion, optimising payment, financing and trust touchpoints.
• Design and implement bundle, accessory and upsell logic to expand average order value, including strategic placement of BNPL options.
• Translate data‑driven insights from GA4, heatmap and testing tools into shipped changes, not slide decks.
• Collaborate with the client‑side Marketing lead in Australia, following a structured testing methodology and reporting cycle.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years hands‑on experience with Shopify ecommerce and a dedicated CRO focus.
• Proven conversion and AOV wins with measurable before/after results.
• Ability to implement changes yourself, comfortable working in Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Fluent in GA4 and at least one heatmap or testing tool (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, VWO, Convert).
• Evidence‑led testing mindset, able to decide with limited sample sizes.
• Willingness to work onsite in Cebu IT Park on a 6:00 AM–3:00 PM PHT shift aligned with Australian business hours.
