E-Commerce Business Development Manager

About the role

The E‑Commerce Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue and growth through online sales channels. This role oversees sales operations, promotion execution, forecasting and works closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all online sales operations, ensuring alignment with business units and maximizing revenue.
• Collaborate with forecasting teams to produce accurate sales predictions using sell‑out run rates, back orders, open POs and inventory data.
• Identify and execute opportunities to increase online sales revenue, improve average order value and conversion rates.
• Consolidate monthly promotions, coordinate briefs with performance marketing and platform teams, and ensure proper execution on the Samsung e‑commerce site.
• Engage with business units and partners to enhance channel engagement and provide guidance on promotion planning.
• Manage pre‑consensus forecasting and align sales targets with inventory levels.
• Coordinate with product and regional teams to synchronize promotions and sales strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in online/e‑commerce account or sales management.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills with key decision‑makers.
• Proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines and work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Experience managing the Samsung e‑commerce platform ( and related online sales tools.
