E-commerce Assistant (Merchandising & SEO)

About the role

As an E‑commerce Assistant focusing on Merchandising and SEO, you will ensure the online store’s product data, pricing, imagery, and on‑site content are accurate, up‑to‑date, and aligned with commercial and SEO strategies. You will work remotely, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver a seamless shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Regularly review the website to detect anomalies, missing information, broken content, or inconsistencies and resolve them promptly.
• Maintain accurate product information in the central database, including titles, descriptions, prices, attributes, and onboarding into the PIM system.
• Enrich product data using AI tools and ensure consistency across all business channels.
• Optimize key page content for SEO, identify missing or weak metadata, and implement on‑page SEO recommendations.
• Upload and manage product images, ensuring correct format, resolution, and alignment with campaigns.
• Support catalogue merchandising rules, commercial activities, and campaign execution to improve product visibility.
• Maintain accurate business hours and location details across Google Business, Apple Business, and website store locator.
• Identify, report, and escalate content discrepancies or errors to relevant teams.

Required profile

• Proactive in identifying and resolving website issues.
• Support continuous improvements to product data and content quality.

Required skills

• Product Information Management (PIM) system usage.
• AI tools for data enrichment.
• On‑page SEO techniques and metadata optimization.
• Image handling and optimization.
